Muka Head - Day 6 (last)
23rd November 2007, Friday
After waking up, all of us were busy packing things... it was our very last morning at Muka Head...
Returned the bedsheet etc... brought our luggages out and had our last breakfast there...
below are some photos of the scenes of our research station (not all taken on that day):
our dormitory...
Denise, Sheu Yen, Sok Wah, Huey Sean, Chai Lee
the flora in the Station compound
me..
japanese girls in japanese garden? hehe...
another beautiful scenery
incomplete group photo...(no guys at all?!)
it's USM Muka Head Marine Life Research Station's symbol...
4 different sizes of Hermit Crab with different types of shell they inhabit.. even very small size of shell could also be their home, refer to the first pic, it's button shell!
monkey ... very naughty with its big gang...
and another is dead jelly fish....
this is ghost crab which is commonly found on Muka Head's beach...
another commonly found fauna in Muka Head is white-bellied sea eagle (no photo available haha.)
After putting our luggages to the boat, all of us except few guys (they didn't need to walk, they were going out by boat too! ) walked out back to another jetty out of the Penang National Park area.
hey... this time we didn't feel that tired anymore after the walking following the edge of forest! yoyo... that meant we had become healthier lolz..
National Park is our possession!
Again, to take back our bags, we walked on the old wooden jetty..
Then, we waited for the bus.....
Not long while then, the buses came... and in the buses were our friends from Group B!
wow... everyone was so excited including myself haha... it was like a year we didn't meet our friends lolz.... some even hugged with their friends
took photo with my dear friends right after they went down from bus hehe..
yo... finally we meet again for A While! ahaha..
*photos posted were taken from my own camera and my coursemates'..*
So, they were going to experience what we had done before... while we were going back USM and repeated the things they had done before too...
OMG! The buses left us at the bus station but not at our going-to-stay's hostel!
To reach our hostel from there, we had to cross a pedestrian bridge.... I had to move so many bags on my own ...oh my...
Besides, nobody wanted to stay with me (kesiannya saya haiz..), as my friends all had already paired up with each other... Luckily.. a malay female coursemate asked me to be her roommate ... yay~ she's a very nice person!
and because of her too... our luggages were carried by her friends's sister's who drove a car... hoho... we just needed to walk ourselves there...
My one-week-stay hostel was Tekun, the building nearest to that pedestrian bridge, facing main road...
*Tekun is one of the hostel of R.S.T area, which is located outside USM main campus... the far far away hostel!
My room was 4-3... meaning located at 4th floor, number 3 room.. hey, it's my date of birthday! lolz...
Most of us paid money to wash clothes by using washing machine there... and slept in that afternoon.. we were free that day... to rest and chit-chat!
