PENANG trip (the departure night + Day 1)

for this holiday, Penang trip was the only trip I went with my classmates and seniors of upper six and also with some outsiders.

7th December 2005
At 9.00pm, Jin with her mum came to fetch me to school. Aiyo, we were the third early birds !
Although Arun told us to gather at school at 9.00pm, but he himself came after 1 and a half hour... After waiting for a long long time, finally the bus came at 11.40pm.
Oh... we had waited for 2 hours 45 minutes! It's just wasting our time only, what we could do was only to chat and chat until we started to talk nonsense ~
*the bus driver went to wash his bus, he said*
*the bus was the same with the one we took to Fraser's Hill last time*

8th December 2005
At 1.50am, the bus stopped at Perhentian Tapah till 2.30am, we went to toilet and walked walked while the bus driver slept.
Jin & I couldn't sleep at all (in fact, not only we two but most of the people) because some of the upper six's were making noise as they were so 'high'! They purposely disturbed us who wanted to sleep.
oh ya, there were stars in the sky... many many... Jin saw that suddenly...

Our bus stopped at another perhentian (not sure what's the name but it's near to Penang already), from 4.30 - 6 am. The bus driver slept again.
After going to toilet, I felt so cold and hence had a hot drink at the stalls. On the way back to our bus, Jin and I met an old woman who has some difficulties in walking. She was holding a walking stick and couldn't walk steadily. She wanted to go to the toilet but she didn't know the direction.
I supported her with my hand while Jin helped to direct.
In fact, I saw a guy standing outside the toilet who seemed like the son/grandson/someone knew that old woman. However, he didn't help her and only offered to help when Jin & I were finding the bus she took.
by the way, I was happy to help her =p (macam reka cerita saja, lolx)

Overall, finally I had about half-hour-sleep after that as they were also tired already so the bus was in silence.......... however, Jin didn't sleep at all but just could had some short while rest ~

I had my first time of crossing the Penang Bridge at about 7.00am.
This is also my first visit to Penang oh...
We had our breakfast at Pekan Belugor (pasar). Aiks, so bad, I ate only nasi lemak :S

at 8.00am, we went to Bukit Bendera. We went up the hill by taking cable car. It started to rain on the way. The cable car was quite 'louya' huh...slow indeed....
We didn't spend much time on visiting the place as it was raining and there was a dense fog and couldn't take clear photos...(the hill is about 700 meters)
It was so crowded in the cable car on the way going up but the opposite situation happened for on the way going down the hill.
*Jin and I were always going here and there together with Khoo & SY* we both had become the super spot light !!!!
After that, we went to the cafe there and met Siva sitting alone there drinking tea, he was feeling not well. We were chit-chatting while having our fried rice, and Siva (who is called as papa) was waiting for his "children" (his classmates, our seniors)... he even treated us with drinks. Thx ~

at 11.45am, we went to our Bayu Emas Apartment. It took us a long time as it is located at Batu Ferringgi which is quite far away from the town. Then, we had a long waiting (again!) for checking-in. Then, we took our luggage from the bus to our apartment on the 10th floor (ours is the highest)
Jin & I stayed together with Fadzil's younger sister; Khoo & SY stayed together (oh...) and other guys (Fadzil and his friends) stayed in one room + living room.
Overall, the facilities of the apartment was quite ok. We checked the items listed and then took rest after bath. Almost all of the plugs were used to charge handphones...
(lolx.. there were 10 people staying in this apartment unit)
(the other people were staying in lower floor apartment units)
We were given few hours to sleep as many of us were so tired (almost all didn't sleep for the whole night).
*so... what's the meaning of going on trip in the night? We wanted to have more time to play but the result was... we were wasting our own time...*
However, Jin & I couldn't sleep. We went for a walk at the beach at 5.30pm (we just need to walk less than 200meters to reach the beach)
Yo, we met a hourse named 'Black Ranger'
We were so happy especially Jin. And ya, she's right, the horse is so cute! (we are animal lovers lar..)
At first, we weren't dare to take its photo as the rider looked like very fierce but actually he's very friendly. Then, he came near us and asked us to take photos together, he even asked us to try to ride on it but we rejected.
We went back to the apartment at 6.30pm with ice-cream....

We went to gather at 7.30pm. They asked us to gather at sharp 7.30 but they let us waited till 8.00pm...
Pesta Penang was our next destination. We had our dinner there....
(Jin & I ate only burger and some nuts... )(we were so tired as we didn't have enough sleep)
This Pesta is just like a Mini Genting Highland, there are many rides and stalls, sort of fun fair.
Then, Jin & I went to play the Euro Wheel 摩天轮 by paying RM4 for 2 tokens. Jin was not feeling well and she doesn't like to ride on those exciting rides.
After that, we met other gang of friends
(before that only Jin and I both walked together...)
They dare to try those exciting rides.. yeah... finally I met someone can play crazily together ( I don't dare to try those alone... )
When we both met them, they were riding the most exciting ride (VORTEX)! 0.O
I didn't try as.. they all were in pairs already, there was nobody to play it with me~
That ride was really really scary, extremely... hard to describe here =p
from where we stood, we could hear their scary screaming, oh.. it's indeed very exciting! At first, I thought the loudest screaming was made by Wei Wen, but... I was wrong and it was Neo! hahahahah....
After that, we (included me) tried another exciting ride ... hmm... it costed RM8 (4 tokens..)
I screamed but actually it's not so scary if I close up my eyes.
*these two rides are not available in Genting Highland oh...*
Then, we all went for the Euro Wheel again...
*this Euro Wheel is higher than the one in Genting Highland (the Ferris Wheel)
At 12am, we gathered and went back to the apartment...

something funny happened on the way back to the apartment, Jin & I chatted with the two guys sitting behind us in the bus.
They were our seniors who studied in Physics class. When they asked us about their names, I said I knew one of them....
then, I told them it is "Mak Kian Yong".......... once I said this, they burst into laughter...
"oh... I know there is something wrong!" ... after enough laughing, they said, "you've combined two names together!"
=.=" you know, one of them is Mak Kien Keng, while another one is Chia Kian Yong!
@@" so embarrasing .........
by the way, this was the good start to make friends with them.. since then, we chatted a lot ^^
