Tomb Sweeping Day

After checking dictionary and websites, finally I know how to call 'Qing Ming Jie' in English ^^, it's Tomb Sweeping Day~! *pai seh* oh yeah... at least I learned something ^^

Last few years I didn't follow my family go along to "visit" my passed-away-grandfather because I had to go to school for exams and studies. This year finally I can go to "visit" him. My grandfather's grave is located at "Fu Gui Shan Zhuang" (Nirvana Memorial Park) at Semenyih, Kajang. He 'lives' at the 3rd floor of his 'apartment', got many 'neighbours' too.

In the old days, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, but... now the Company will do it for you, especially like my grandfather's grave, actually can it be called as grave? hmm... from dictionary, the definition for
grave is "a place in the ground where a dead person is buried"
tomb is "a large stone structure or underground room where someone, especially an important person, is buried"
my grandfather's "grave" apartment : a solid block with many died people's bone ash put inside (kinda Hong Kong drama's shown as)
aiya... or there is another word to replace it? Okay, forget about it, so.. what my family members and I did today was offering food for my grandfather and burning spirit money to him (other than spirit money, got the newest handphone too ^^), compared with the people in old days, they had to do more thing than us, as we no need to clear the bush up.

Another thing happened today ~~> most of my family members "had the trots" (=diarrhoea)...
But I was lucky to escape it, wuahaha, why this happened? That's because they ate the staled bun which made by my grandmother. They didn't discover it, and those buns were exposed to the air for a long time so become stale.
haha... today on the way to the destination to visit my grandfather and when came home, they were so suffering to find toilet.
