2012 年的第一天

1/1/12 - 很幸运的今天是我的休日。

睡到 2.30pm 才甘愿爬起身（请原谅我的堕落）。

吃过‘早餐’，约姐妹们喝茶，只有我们三位--均，晴，我。晴又要回新国工作了。

发现大家都心老了。。。最近每一次的聚会都会唉声叹气。。。不那么好现象。

晚上和家人出外吃晚餐迟庆祝爸的生日；刚好大弟有放假从新国回来。

现在的大弟和我都有能力请家人吃大餐了，嘻嘻！

所以就我们两人AA制请吃。

最近的我也演变成了司机哦。。。

逛家乐福，回家时有辆车double parking 气到我（怎么这么霸道连联络号码都没有），真想找东西摔那辆车！

还好前面那辆车要走了，要不然就不知怎么办了~！

回家后处理衣橱的霉菌。。。。家里刚装修好,才搬回近来不久. 那些衣橱都经历了许多风霜,所以被霉菌侵蚀了! >.<

就这样开始了我的 2012 年。

愿天灾远离大家。人为的伤害能避则避。

闲话少说，闲事莫管

所谓"闲话少说,闲事莫管", 其实至的不是"闲话" 或 "闲事", 而是 "很无聊,闲得没事做的人" 所说的话,所做的事.

我做了这个"闲人",在我放一星期的假期之前. 并不是说我真的很闲, 比较起另一方的同事, 我是比较没有压力. 我以很天真的想法想要支持他们, 想要帮助他们, 到头来我的所作所为只能被当作闲事.

这几天被点醒了; 我们不再像以前那样, 因为我不再是真正的战友了, 只能做聆听者, 精神上给予支持, 仅仅这样. 我有我的战场, 他们有他们的, 自从我被分派到这里就是被分隔了, 是我一个人还傻天真地以为还能像往常一样.

职场上, 得面对现实. 世界不会因为你的天真而变得简单.

当大家不是站在同一战场上, 就是对立的, 我完全没有立场要去"出口"或"出手" 帮忙, 就算是存好心, 单纯地想要帮忙.... 真的是会越帮越忙. 我要他们怎样去想我这个外人啊? 我不是战友, 那会是卧底? 内奸?

我要学会管好自己的地盘, 别人的, 最多能传情报, 无论如何都救不到的...

也对, 自己的仗得靠自己去取得胜利呀~

所以说, 就算我是天真地想去帮, 也得站在他们的立场去想呀... 现在, 我唯一能做的是把自己的战区守好, 变强! 不是要隔岸观火, 可是只能精神上支持, 当他们开口要求时, 看看自己能为大家做些什么...

要醒目, 要学会察言观色, 谢谢"保姆", 朋友们和干阿哥的忠言啊~

就算入世未深, 无所谓, 就在跌跌撞撞下, 学习和实践, 不要重蹈覆辙, 保持正面的态度~!!

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro

Last Tuesday night, I was so blurred that I lost my property again.
My dearest little red Sony Ericsson W660i was left in the toilet I supposed.... and then of course when I realized like 10 minutes later, it was no longer there T_T

Still remember last time I lost my purse... it happened just suddenly... just because I was blurred also, and I did not even know where I lost it. In current case, in fact I also not sure how it happened... lolz

I am really a "big prawn head" 大头虾 !!!

What if next time I lost something even more expensive? aiyo.....

I was so down after that case, felt lost as no mobile phone to get access to people anytime. Also, my contacts and photos and some messages..... sigh, there gone my precious memory...

The next day, I casually invited Jeanne my ji mui to accompany me for "shopping". We went to Carrefour Kepong. After getting my replacement simcard, we went to hunt the suitable mobile phone.

At first, I was thinking just to get a cheap mobile phone, without touchscreen, but should have wifi. Spotted SE J10, but still being hesitated, although just RM450.
But then, felt not contented as being outdated. Many people are using iPhone oh.... but I don't think I want to use iPhone because ... dangerous! haha... too expensive for me to carry around, and being blurred and lost again ~~

When we visited the second stall, I fell in love with the SE Vivaz Pro. Although I did not like the phone with only touchscreen as it was not so convenient to use when driving (dangerous act) etc, this one come with keypad! haha... in fact it is not convenient except for frequent sms or long message to type with.

Finally, I bought this AP phone with RM750. This price was not cheap enough as I checked with pricing on internet afterwards. hmm... never mind, could not regret also. Reviews from internet are the flaws of this phone having Symbian OS instead of Android, huh... still okay for me I guess, as I don't really want to play games or install many applications.

Here goes my blackie~ my friends comment this is too man worrrrr haha

胡言乱语

经过某次与其中一位同僚随谈时，不以为意地诉诉苦，怎料被劝说我应该是时候独当一面，说得我好像不够成熟，还不会想。。。

我真的那样不成熟吗？我所诉的只不过是觉得孤独，因为只身离开了我亲爱的战友们到新的分店独自战斗。。。我真的是随口说说，并不是在投诉些什么。。。　唉

我是很讨厌单独吃饭的，总觉得怪怪的，身边的人群都会投异样眼光，好像我是外星来似的。

为什么别人可以想要人陪吃饭，我有同样的想法/欲望却不可以？非要把我当草莓族一般看待？只因为我还“小”？

真的奇怪。。。>.<

还有，

当我情绪控制的很好，超级的正面去面对问题时（或许是另外一种逃避），被他们说我不是人。

当我变得情绪化的时候，却被说成不成熟。。。

那你们要我怎样啊？

我知道中庸之道，但是情绪化的人不只是我咯。。。。应该清楚了解“情绪”这家伙是很难拿捏的！

但是啦，我是很正面的啦，最近又清醒了，调整了一些步伐，虽然还不是很满意。。。

比如说，我又习惯一个人吃饭了。

这些事情，一时一样，还记得大学的时候已经发生过类似的事情；

一开始一大班新朋友时常聚在一起吃饭，谈笑风生；

后来大家各有各精彩，各有各忙，各有各烦恼，各有各自生活；变得大部分时间又得一个人。

得花时间适应什么事情都是一个人去做，在这时候就要找出一些原因让自己享受自己一个人过生活，也要让自己有些什么可以自我陶醉在自己的世界里的。。。好像很宅女哦? 哈哈...

不要让自己有失落的机会，就要断了所有的期望，因为期望越大，失望越大。

所以，当自己落单的时候，真的要自己娱乐自己呢，不要期望会有任何人出现。

习惯

要把习惯戒掉并不容易，都说明是习惯了嘛。。。

很多事情都是因为习惯了，所以有了一定的期望觉得会一如往常地发生。

首先，要戒掉就要先失望，失望多了，就会厌倦了等待，累了，也会觉得自己很傻；

渐渐地，为了要保住自己的自尊心等等，自然地会下定决心忘记，改变习惯。

那个习惯或许依然让人留恋，但如果不尝试踏前一步，自己会很活地很累、失去自我，就像一个丧尸，每天行尸走肉地过日子。。。

哦。。。感叹。

当我在开始阅读那天买的新书,在推荐序那儿这句话; 生于忧患，死于安乐
其实明白其中意义, 但还是在网上查一查... 其实是<<孟子>>所说的, 而且也和我在面子书上状态分享的那句话意义相同:

故天将降大任于是人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为，所以动心忍性，曾益其所不能

这也是<<孟子>>里提到的...

这些金句的道理和我的大大大老板的经营哲学 , "成功一日可以丢弃" 是相似的; 缺少了忧患意识,只会享受一时的成功, 很快就会被别的竞争对手打败, 也被这个快步伐的社会淘汰!

我觉得最近比起以前少了忧患, 因为摆脱了一个女强人的"魔掌". 其实我并没有恨他, 她的存在让我发现自己其实是很无知很弱的. 我开始缺乏自信心, 感到无比的压力和磨练了我的耐性; 但同时也给我机会从他身上学习了他处事的干劲, 却也看清了他的人为. 为了不要被归类为"草莓族", 我尽量控制自己的情绪, 正面地去看待每一件事, 容忍他的所作所为, 不轻易被打败就算我是很弱的, 我也不会因为他的存在而去辞职!

哈哈... 现在其实我有其他更多的忧患, 可是好像还没有真正地去面对!

根本都还没有成功过, 为什么没有忧患的? 哎哟...

好糟糕,好像还在糊里糊涂的, 好对不起大家啊~~~

看来我是缺乏了要成功的决心, 每天口口声声要大家寻找目标,自己却做不到!

设定目标真的很重要, 目标, 你在哪里??????

无论如何, 我要扛得起那个重任! 我要帮大家减轻负担! 一定要啊~~~
这也算是其中一个目标吧? 哈哈... 哎呀, 可是测量不到哦... =.="
无论如何, 我会继续正面的~~~~~~~~ 还有继续寻找目标...
为了生计, 怎样都要吧! $$$$$$$$$$$

关于 生于忧患，死于安乐, 以下的理论我觉得说得很不错

论 “生于忧患，死于安乐”
《孟子》中说道" 生于忧患，而死于安乐也。" 此话的确意味深长。只有心怀一定的危机感和忧虑感才能使我们在当今社会如此激烈的竞争中得以生存，寻求立足之地！

忧患可以使担当大任的人经得住苦难的考验，可以促进人类社会不断的向前发展。但是，在美国阿拉斯加动物园中的鹿苑里发生了一件值得每个人深思的事……

狼捕食鹿，人们想让鹿不被狼捕杀而杀死狼。他们违背了" 优胜劣汰" 的原则。由此，狼便越来越少，本想鹿应该增多了，但是，事实却恰恰相反。这是为什么？是因为，鹿缺少了忧患，只顾自由自在的生活。原来有狼追鹿，鹿就会奔跑，现在，狼没有了，鹿的体质也必然下降，直至死亡。可见，忧患的作用不仅对人，对社会，对整个自然界也是有极大好处的。

" 故天将降大任于是人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，所以动心忍性，增益其所不能。" 这也是《孟子》中的一段话。这番话说的是：承担重任的人，之所以受尽苦难，是" 天" 授之以重任之前，先要磨练他的意志和身心，借以提高他的竞争能力。做一个人，一个发奋图强，顽强拼搏，意志坚定，勇往直前的人，必须要用" 忧患" 做为一切成就的先决条件。从古至今，多少英雄豪杰做出的丰功伟绩，都缺不了" 忧患" 意识做为精神支柱，这也体现出忧患的重要。

比如爱迪生，为人类做了巨大贡献，而他小时侯却家境贫寒，所以，他省吃俭用、积攒零钱、购置仪器、配件，创出一千三百多项发明，才得以人类社会发生了巨变。这又凭着什么？还不是凭借他的智慧与刻苦钻研精神，而这精神从哪儿来？不屈不挠的精神就是忧患的结果！我们每一个人都应该有忧患的思想，只有抱着这样一种态度，自己的学业就会有成，自己的事业才会成功！

可是，社会上也有一些不良风气。再如：一个退休老干部，年轻时饱经风霜，现在过上好日子后整天只想怎样养生，如何享受，最终堕落到不可收拾的地步。这样的例子还有很多，这些人做出这些行为的原因何在？原因在于他心中没有忧患做支撑，结果就像那些鹿一样败下阵来，最终被社会淘汰。

因此，我们要抵制不正之风，发扬优良传统，弘扬中华美德，使我们的祖国经久不衰，繁荣富强！若想做到这些，就必须有" 忧患" 精神来做我们的立国之本！

勿忘" 生于忧患，死于安乐" ！！！

我问你，如果你失去了一位好朋友，你会怎样？

表面上，我们还是朋友，不过那只是关方式的。

我很耿耿于怀，但是我没有资格去要求什么。

要怪只能怪我自己再次地祸从口出，不小心伤害了她。

对她来说或许这并不是我所谓的不小心，而是出卖了她。

我没有任何借口去解释我的作为，因为我如何想并不重要；

重点在于她所看到的是怎样。

对，我们还是朋友，我只是她一个失信的朋友，已不再是可以分享心事的知己。

就如我在面子书里写的：“酱快的。。。兔子转了两个圈哦。。。觉得自己不像咯~！”

我本身也是“一只”兔子,呼呼。。。

但是我不是长这个样子啦~

这只兔子是我妈妈的宝贝,它的名字叫"小宝"哈哈....

对、我和家人在年初二去了一趟。。。

我第一次去呢。。。只是随意走走。。。

这张呢，是在我工作地点拍的，那就是“飞轮海88”里的兔年装饰物

这个吊坠是在我工作商场里的小摊买的，那位叔叔说这个是雪山石来的。。。

我也不管它是不是啦，最重要是无害，便宜，特别。。。哈哈！！

这个呢，一看便知道是个随身碟 (thumb drive)，

因为有写着牌子嘛~

可爱吧？虽然比起普通的贵，这个要 RM34 呢！

但是难以抗拒呀~ 太太太 “口爱” 了。。。。

当作买给自己的新年礼物咯。。。反正今年新年太不像新年了。。。

由于传统禁忌问题，家里有丧事一年内不能这样那样。。。所以家里也不能有新年气氛咯。。。

不能去拜年，只能在家等亲朋戚友来拜访。。。

还有今年是第一年我踏入社会，我的工作时间也比较特别；除夕夜我得到晚上九时才收工过年；然后初三就开工咯~ 再然后，初五又二度收工。。。哈哈！特别咧~

人家开工，我又收工，所以。。。没有人陪我。。。呜呜。。。

所以，这为期一个礼拜的休假，那儿都不用去，只能呆在家里~~~~~~~~~~~~~

First of all, I want to wish everyone Happy Rabbit Year, yes, it's my year =)

Here comes a very late review of Year 2010 after a long time of inactiveness in blogging.

REVIEW:

Resolutions for Year 2010:

--improve my temper control even more! Although already improved, I know the sufficient level is not yet reached.

I think I had improved the EQ level for a certain period, but then recently dropped again...

--love my dear more, hehe... (I always bully him leh =.=")

I am sorry to him

--complete my FYP! with good thesis produced!

Yes, completed... not considered as good

--put more effort in study, so I can graduate with at least cgpa 3.00 (higher better la haha) Yes, I achieved 3.15

--take care of myself (I always sick?)

erm....Nope, I always sleep at very late night

--able to decide which way to go, my future... my job...

I found a job... considered achieved?

--be slimmer or at least maintain... my weight

Yes, maintained and slimmer a bit...

--do not procrastinate my work, reduce last-minute work...

I am still doing that, bad.

Now is year 2011. Last year, many things happened and changed.

My beloved grandmother had passed away; while I was still in Penang struggling with thesis.

I had completed my 3-year degree study, the course Pure Biology, major in Microbiology, minor in Management; after completed the FYP (final year project), with thesis submission and viva voce. And hence, moved back to my hometown.

I had attended the first interview on the very next day of viva in Penang, for the position of management trainee (based in Japan) of global hiring programme by U n i q l o. However, I failed.

Next, I did not work hard on hunting full-time job like my other friends. It was because I was still very blur of my direction. Should I pursue with the same field in science or change? I did not know. At the same time, I must fill up my time meaningfully, i.e. earn money while still being confused. Therefore, I searched part-time jobs through websites. Finally, I found an event job and spent the working time together with my friends happily.

At the same time, I was lucky enough to get another interview chance. My previous job application (which I failed the interview) was forwarded to another position of the same company, upon my reply through email. Oh yeah, it was similar job but based in Malaysia. I was hesitated to attend the interview or not, and luckily, I made the correct decision.

I was a lucky person. I finally had the chance to experience flight in my life lolz...

The first flight was taking Japan Airline (JAL) to Tokyo Japan! And after that, I had the second flight to Singapore and third flight to again, Japan. Most importantly, those flights were sponsored =D

In between the time I came back from Singapore and before I went to Japan for the second time, I had attended my convocation in Penang, and met all the coursemates and university friends~ The only dissapointment was that my mom did not join the event, only my dad went with me.....

Couldn't imagine that I had been to Japan... it was a precious chance given to me. Visited a few places during the off days I had in between the training. I had worked hard, and played hard!

However, the months after that were all locked in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia haha...

Busy life started with the first full time job as a management trainee in retail industry, which was totally out of everyone expectation, since my major was in science field. Yeah, life is always full of surprises, hehe...

From this job, many first-time experience I had gained. Communication and interpersonal skills are the two main challenges to deal with people. I was glad and grateful to meet my nice group of colleagues and bosses, learnt a lot from the interaction between us, and cherished the time we spent together in Singapore and Japan =)

Experienced the super busy life for the opening of the first store in Malaysia. Ups and downs experienced are unforgettable and precious.

Before the year 2010 ended, I broke up with him. It was a shocking news to many of the people around us. Sorry was the only word I could say. If want to blame one of us, I was the one. I changed my mind, I became more realistic... and I felt the distance even further...

In a nutshell, things changed drastically especially when the environment changed, from Penang to KL to abroad, and again to KL; from being a student to become an employee.

**opss, forgot to include one important thing, I had added one precious asset, that was Myvi =)

hahaha... really a long time I had abandoned this blog, so paiseh neh....

Every time when I think of my blog, I wanted to write something, but after a few sentences, I gave up and closed the page. Haiz....

It is always true to say that being a student is far happier than being an employee =.=

Being a student, your responsibility is to study hard.

Being an employee, your responsibility is far more heavier, and not only for yourself.

Mixed feeling~

Also, you can't tell much about your company happenings because most are supposed to be confidential, unlike your own student life that can be shared to almost everyone. Oh yes, it is my own problem because others do not always share their daily life happenings like what I did.

Anyway, not everything happened was negative of course. However, those negative always overshadowed the positive ones. Still, I will think positive and increase my EQ further to higher level!!!!!

Updated info about me since the last blog post is, I experienced graduation ceremony, I had about 5 week on the job training in Japan and now working in KL Malaysia. And having stressful and busy but meaningful life.

I miss my dear... =(

Anyway, I believe I can do it~! Ganbatte ah~~~

Convocation is Coming ~

It is now August, the month of Convocation haha.....

and mine will be on the 7th August 2010, afternoon session, at DTSP USM~~~

Yes, I have graduated, and not yet attended the convocation, in case you still don't know about my current 'status'.

The more updated information about me is, I am currently employed.

Yay~ no more wandering around, no more 'goyang kaki', no more being a 蛀米虫 xp

June and July were an important transition period for me. Basically, I would say... the job did not come to me out of sudden. I did grab the chances given to me. The first one failed, but it led to the second chance and I again grab it and tried my best. Of course, I was lucky throughout the process too. Because of this job opportunity, I gained lots of other things.......

However, it's a big contrast of being employed vs jobless... and I will get busier and busier... @@

Commitment is long term, which is different from being just a temporary promoter.

Because of this job opportunity, I had my first experience boarding on an airplane, and traveled to the first foreign country, Japan. Although only for a few days, it had opened my eyes wider... really wider~~ Next, it led to my second chance of flying aboard to neighbour country, Singapore. It was a longer stay, and I even had the chance to attend my best friend, Ching's convocation at NTU.

It sounds fun huh?! Yes, I should appreciate the golden chance, and play hard besides work hard. Also, I found more and more of my own weakness as time passes by. To more experienced people, sometimes I act immaturely and not confident enough. I must realize this and keep reminding myself to change. There're a lot more things to realize... and I must be open-minded to accept and improve from time to time. Also, I have to be mentally and physically strong, or I will lose in the battle.

Mind setting is very important too. I should realize that I am no longer an undergraduate, but a graduate, also an employee. Say only those needed, filter before speaking out ~~ be mature!

Back to main topic, HAPPY GRADUATION to my fellow friends~~~ not only my coursemates, also friends from other courses and those graduating from other Universities hehehe~~~

Wish us have a bright future ahead and a happy life ^__^

Part-time JOBs ~!

It has been a long time I did not update my recent happenings... ever since I was back to my hometown from Penang.

Paiseh paiseh haha... now roughly summarized what I had done in the past 2 months.

Once I back to my home, I had become lazy and relaxed... busy meeting my friends etc. However, I also faced insomnia for most of the nights because I slept too late and woke up late; besides feeling stressed.

Why stressed? It was time after I had finally finished my University life, which meant I should be ready to work! Many people would like to ask me about my planning for my future. Not only me, I guess many of my coursemates and friends who have just graduated are really headache and stressful when facing this question. I tried to search jobs from jobstreet, spotted few but did not apply any. I had ever thought of working at Singapore, but was not determined enough to apply any job.

I was so confused of what field to work in, what type of job I wanted...

Then, I had decided to work part-time job while figuring out the full-time job of my interest or waiting for fortunes to come to me.

In fact, the process of searching part-time job also took a long time... and I had finally worked 3 jobs for the same agent and same client:

To me, working part-time job do bring a lot of benefits and experience:

- to earn quick pocket money

- to get to know more friends

- to learn how to deal with customers

- to improve social skill and communication skill

- to play while working hahaha

- to explore the shopping mall (if you work in a shopping mall)

- to reveal and recognize my own weakness; Next, improve myself

It was fun because I was working with some of my friends; During my second job, we went to work by car-pool and had got to know more friends~ besides working with my dear hahaha...

Third job was basically the same job as the second, but I did not manage to work all days due to some valid reasons hehe =)

I do encourage people to do part-time jobs not merely to earn money; as these do bring us precious experiences especially when we were still students, besides balancing studies with activities; it's one of the best way to gain knowledge practically and to learn important communication skills.

During the working period, I had realized much of my weakness dealing with customers... although I have not yet able to change these, I will always remind myself! hehe... I can do it!

Penang 1D Trip - Part 4

After visiting Butterfly farm, we passed by a night market (pasar malam) of Teluk Bahang while on the way back to Batu Ferringhi. Since we were somehow craving for food, my dear went to buy a packet of sugar cane drink and some Apam balik. The sugar cane drink was very nice and fresh!

Our initial plan was actually to wait for sunset at the Love Isle.

This is the so-called Love Isle... however, the place was quite deserted.

But since it was so dangerous for both of us to stay at the deserted place, we went to somewhere else with more crowds. Anyway, our plan failed as the cloud was too thick... I could not prove that we were able to enjoy the sunset view from this side of Batu Ferringhi. But one thing we had observed, there were a lot of Rapid Penang 101 passing by this area!

Next, we went to Bayview hotel to "refresh" ourselves and clean away the sands before we headed off for food hunting. We went to Kimberley Street nearby Komtar to try out fried chicken pieces (like popcorn chicken), but it was too late and hence sold out, luckily there's still other type of delicious fried chicken, only RM2.30 ^__^

Then we also ate char kuey teow (not really nice one), and had si koh soup 四果汤 (RM2.20) at 汕头街四果汤 Traditional Home of Dessert.

Our food hunting mission was not very successful as I thought. However, we did manage to eat a quite nice dish at Padang, while on the way back to Sungai Dua; which was Foo Kooi Mee 富贵面 .... kind of 淋面.... nice!!! combined with sambal~

After that, we went back to Gelugor area... and visited the jetty which we could take ferry to Pulau Jerejak. We were not allowed to walk on the jetty so just stayed for a short while and took photos of the Penang Bridge.

Our very last place visited was OXO restaurant next to Queensbay mall. We had a light supper there, but the food was not delicious as I tasted before.... hmm...

It was how we ended our one day trip with all expenses controlled within RM150 ^____^

It was a memorable trip, although short and with limited budget...

Thanks to my dear~~~~ hope in the future we will have more and more anniversaries to go and to celebrate together hehe~

Penang 1D Trip - Part 3

We reached Penang Butterfly Farm at about 4pm. Showed MYKAD, bought the tickets RM10 each adult per entry. There was no charge for bringing in camera.

Hehe, felt so excited when seeing the butterflies flying around me hehe~ The farm looked natural~ Spotted this caterpillars area...

I found the fingerprint on the right wing of this butterfly, could you spot it?

I thought by collecting them, there would be some gifts haha... but it was just for fun =)

Other than butterflies, we could find other insects and animals such as iguana, scorpion, tarantula etc... they were placed in different location according to sections, could refer to the map given.

Overall, the trip at Penang Butterfly Farm was quite nice... enjoyed myself being surrounded by butterflies~~ although the number of species was not as much as I expected, it was quite a good experience and a good place to take photographs of butterflies hehe

Penang 1D Trip - Part 2

The next main destination was Fort Cornwallis, at the Taman Kota Lama. There was a big field which was the place where Bon Odori held annually; nearby the jetty area, at Lebuh Light. We reached there at about 2pm.

Before proceeded to the third main destination, we went to Lorong Selamat to buy some food as snacks. What we bought was "loh bak"卤肉, and deep fried prawn 虾煎 and a packet of Teh Ais ~ total cost RM3.40 + RM1.50 ~ then, my dear drove the car, I ate and fed him hehe... and we headed toward Penang Butterfly Farm ~~~

Penang 1D Trip - Part 1

17th May 2010, was the 1st anniversary of my dear and I becoming a pair of couple ^__^

On the 5th May, he came to Penang to accompany me, to get through the hard times together. I was quite stressful that time as I had not completed many tasks, i.e. the last final exam paper Introduction to Management; the stock cultures preparation; lab workplace clean & clear up; Viva voce slides & the presentation on the 11st May; and also an job interview on the 12nd May.

Without his care and companion, I would live terribly alone....! ^___^ love my dear ^o^

Since I was poor enough, but still I wanted to have some short trips.... at last, I had planned a Penang one-day trip. For convenience, my dear and I decided to rent a car. Initially, I hoped my other coursemates could join us, but they all were busy... hence, left only two of us. Not bad hehe... it became only our trip. It was on our memorable date, 17th May~

Date : 17.05.10

Destination : Around North Penang island

Purpose : Travel around, take photographs, eat

Budget : RM150

Transport by : Rented Car, Kancil-manual

Depart at : Sungai Dua, Penang island

Guide : Me & maps... no GPS oh

Morning 9am, I attended an appointment with dentist at Klinik Pergigian USM. My dear accompanied me. Next, we went to the Post office in USM, to renew his driving license~~

Back to Airmas where we stayed, took bath, prepared stuffs to bring along.... then 11am, we waited at KFC to meet the people in charged of car renting.

Waited nearly half hour, finally he came. Signed on a simple agreement, paid RM35, then took the car in USM. Oh yea.... there we started our journey huhu~~~ of course, the driver was my dear ~

First thing to do -- filled petrol tank~~ to avoid waste, we just filled in RM20 petrol at Caltex.

1st main destination: Chew Jetty

At about 12.30pm, we reached Clan Jetty area. It was just nearby the ferry jetty. The above photo showed the roadside that we passed by. We parked the car, paid RM2 per entry. Although there were few clan jetties, we just went to the most famous Chew Jetty. We were more interested with it as it was one of the spot which few scenes of movie Puppy Love Ice Kacang 《初恋红豆冰》 were taken.

After that, we had our lunch, shared a bowl of Penang Har Mee at the shop in front of the entrance of this jetty. It was RM2 only, but not delicious. Shared a glass of herb tea RM0.90.

Next, we went North even more by walking~ passed by other entrance of Clan jetties...

and passed by this Rapid Penang bus station~

Then... passed by the ferry jetty... tadaaa.... reached the Tanjung City Marina Port. In fact, we did not know this place until we saw it from car just now while searching Chew Jetty. How did it look like? There's a landmark:

searched in the internet, but did not find much information. If not mistaken, this structure was designed by USM... and become the landmark of Tanjung City Marina Port.

We felt that it looked like a sundial =)

This was the Star Cruises - Star Pisces.

From the Tanjung City Marina Port, we could spot this beautiful cruise =p

It was found at Penang International Cruise Terminal at Swettenham Pier.

If you have budget, you may consider spending about RM100 with buffet and one night stay in this luxurious cruise!

After visiting this place and took enough photographs, we we went to Penang Road to buy some biscuits for family. The amount was not counted in our trip haha... but just RM14 for 2 boxes anyway.

Growing Mushrooms~

hehe... long time did not update my blog again!

I am now resting at home, goyang kaki, growing mushrooms.... wake up, eat, online, eat, sleep, eat... aiyo

Yeah, I was back to KL since last Tuesday, 18th May 2010.

Thanks my dear who had accompanied me in Penang for about two weeks... he also became my 'kuli' who helped me in carrying boxes and luggages...

Although we came back from Penang to KL by only Bus, I still able to move back many things... two boxes of books and a big plastic bag including a printer! wow~~~ paiseh haha...
Also thanks my junior OZY for giving me a lift to the bus station!

That day, heavy rain had sent me away from Penang and also the heavy rain had welcomed me back to KL! My dear had become soaked through as a result of unloading my luggages from the bus in the heavy rain~ xp

Actually we could stay in Penang for longer time as I had payed the rental for May. However, we were poor enough, and had nothing special to do in Penang, hence we came back earlier than planned. With limited budget however, I had planned an One-day trip in Penang, on the 17th May 2010. It was the first anniversary of my dear and I becoming a pair of couples hehe ^_^

It was really unforgettable, and all spent within RM150 although we had also rented a car~!

I will write about the trip soon, but I had first uploaded the photos in my facebook, so you can grab a glance on those.

hmm... I no longer need to say going 'back' Penang again. As it is now not my 2nd home anymore... not feeling excited when writing this statement actually, but kinda missing Penang. Three years past fast, it ended when you was just about to cherish everything happened. Besides, I did not have chance to gather with most of the friends crazily before we got separated. We were just too busy finishing the works to fulfill the requirements in order to graduate =(

Anyway, wish my dear friends will have a bright future ahead, and hope for future gathering too!

I am still wandering around... what job suits me best? What do I WANT?

I don't know... bad and feel ashamed to say like this.

Since I always have some random thoughts, Google is the best search engine I would always use to clear the doubts wandering in my mind. *ehem... I am not promoting google anyway*

Just now, while I was studying the last paper of my University life (not paying full attention), suddenly I thought of searching my blog URL in Google. Ah~ ha~~~ there appeared blogs that link to my blog beside my own posts... ... and I found something interesting! Please refer to the printscreen below:

The source was from the URL inside the picture. The content... was discussing about the difference between male and female bloggers; and my BLOG URL was referred as an example of female blog that was considered to talk about daily stories and things happen around "me" haha... and my posts are somehow more sentimental than those of male...

Cannot deny, I usually talk about the daily happenings... but randomly I would share some special interests and videos or songs etc! So, generally... that author was still correct lah, by using my blog as an example of female blog 0-0

Of course, because I am a FEMALE! lollllzzz

wow... although this was posted quite long time ago, back in year 2008 (oh yea, don't forget now it's already 2010), I did not discover it before this. hmm....

This hedwig's sky has accompanied me ups and downs.... from two-year Form 6 until my three-year University life~ oh, such a precious place for me... which also brushed up my writing skills~~

再见。室友

昨天和今天、分别与贞慧、贝珊离别了。。。

再多约两个礼拜就要和另外一位离别，他是月朋，号称 3 moons =D

他们三位都是我这一年来的亲密室友。

好一段复杂的室友情呢！哈哈。。。几复杂？四位不同背景的人生活在一间房间，你说呢？

一位槟岛人、一位北海人、两位吉隆坡人。。。

三位传播系、一位生物系。。。

从陌生到熟悉，可是也只有到前天为止才有机会四位齐人一起出去玩！夸张到。。。

为什么？因为平常两位槟城人都会时常回家，然后我时常也很忙。。。*好像大忙人酱*

所以，就算有时间出去，也很难可以凑足四位的咯。。。

但是我们曾经一起经历过不少的，如一起庆生、一起讨论八卦事件、一起 Pillow Talk、互相支持与鼓励、开玩笑地嘲笑对方等等。。。

如果我告诉你我们不曾争执过，你相信吗？当然不可能啦。。。

意见不和的时候是有啦，但是没有吵架，没有言语伤人，更没有动手动脚~~

住在同一屋檐下真的是不简单的。。。就算是好朋友也未必能和平收场。

但是，真的没有后悔搬出来住！

我与贝珊 = 好朋友、好姐妹、好室友、家乡都是吉隆坡、有很多 friends in common 但是却在不同时期认识的，因为很多我的小学同学是他的中学同学；我们都是谢氏家族、都是白羊座、生日前后排列、但是也只有在大一那一年才认识、也全因为歌咏组！

我与贞慧 = 原本在大学日本学会认识了的。。。后来才知道他是其中一位室友哈哈。。。起初也没那么熟，慢慢地。。。在最后一两个月变得很熟嘻嘻。。。他是个很善良的女孩！而且我们一致认为他有一双会笑的眼睛哦 ^^

我与月朋 = 只有搬进来后才认识的！虽然认识的时间短，但是对他的了解程度并不浅哦。他也是位直话直说的人，就像我哈哈。。。他时常不在这个家，所以跟他见面的时间是最少的。尽管如此，我们时常有谈心事的。。。

上个星期在我最忙的时候，忙里偷闲了。。。与贞慧和月朋约会去~哈哈。。。看了《初恋红豆冰》，好好看哦。。。那是我第一次、也是最后一次和他们两位一起看电影。

然后，前天，星期五下午，我们四位在临别前好好地来个聚会。一考完我的最后一张主修科目，就赶紧回家，打扮美美然后到 Gurney Plaza 去大吃一顿~~~

昨天早上，我们一起到附近的美食之家享用点心。。。最后一个聚餐了。

很好奇地说，我发现到很多人在离别前都没有真正的聚一聚，我觉得会很遗憾。

就好像我没有机会和歌咏组的朋友们再次疯狂地聚会，真的遗憾。

Earthquake again ~.~

While I was rushing the thesis and went to sleep at about 6am, I could not fall asleep that soon... then, suddenly I felt the building was shaking.... hmm.... was it some kind of illusion or what?

I was quite sure of the tremor I felt; then I woke my roommate Cheryl ... but she said she did not feel anything! Some more, she said I must have been too stressed until I became blurred~

For your information, I am staying at 16th floor....!

In my heart, I wished it was really an illusion...

However, when I woke up at 10am, I checked online news.... and ... only I knew there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 ...

May God bless the victims...

It was really scaring... to feel even ONLY the tremor of earthquake...

Cannot imagine if there's earthquake in Malaysia...

or the arrival of the end of the world.... like the one in movie 2012...

Everyone, let's make effort to protect our dearest Mother Earth...

Recycle, Reuse, Reduce.... Go Green... plant more than you cut them down...

They switched off the light and sang birthday song for Cheryl and Me ^^

Although in the depressed status + time constraint, I opted to attend the prom night, aka BioNite with the theme of Retro & Traditional on the 27th March 2010, organised by the exco of School of Biological Science. Before that, I did not attend the 1st and 2nd year's. Since most of my friends wanted to go, I just followed the flow~

Pre-prom: I need to thank my dear roommates Ching Huey and Cheryl Bei Shan for accompanying me to Prangin Mall for shopping. It was a lucky day for me, because I was able to find the suitable cloth and accessories in short time, with cheap price too! Believe me or not, the dress only cost me RM21~

Really thank to my dear Bei Shan, she helped me to do make-up. She herself also not really experienced, but she tried her best hehe... and I was satisfied with the outcome haha ^__^

Thank to Wei Kit for being the driver, who fetched us along to Naza Hotel. This hotel was by seaside, but we did not walk on the beach...

The event started late....... we all were busy taking photographs while waiting for food.... everyone was indeed hungry~~

Talking about the Food, I rated it bad!

Few selection, and the amount was not enough. I was late to queue up for food, and when it was my turn, most of the more delicious food was finished. What I ate was curry chicken, plain rice, vegetable... ! It did not worth my RM50... Yen Ying then shared some french fries with me, and also few of fried fish. The not-really-delicious ice-cream was also finished up before I could take one.

Aiks... in addition, I was not really in mood, some more, when I was queuing up, the 3 ladies in front of me were very slow, they were taking corn soup for few persons; I tried asking permission from them for skipping them so that I could take rice first... their replied was, no no no, you cannot skip the queue! SWT la them, they were so slow in motion taking the soups, couldn't I skip them so that the queue could run short faster?! It just made my mood become worse...

About the programme of the night, those performances were insincerely prepared. The whole night programme were in Malay language.

Games... quite boring although the atmosphere became better when it came to choosing the prom queen and king. The selection process was weird, but we did not really bother much. The committees themselves picked 3 girls and 3 guys with the clothes most suitable with the theme. Chee Hui was one of the girls, and she had won the Prom Queen title after performing a short drama with a guy haha.... she did it well, congratz oh... and she was really deserved to get it as her dress up was very matching.

It was in fact Earth Hour during 8.30pm-9.30pm; during this prom, there was a session of switching off the light for few minutes as a mean to support Earth Hour... but it was too short in my opinion. Anyway, did better than none.

There were a few of lucky draw sessions. Coincidently, the ones who were lucky wore pinky clothes... was it true? hmm... it was according to the emcee of the night. And I was lucky enough too to won myself a present, it was a book titled Charles Darwin Voyaging. My lucky number was 29. Hehe... I was wearing red + white cloth oh, near to pink? haha

Very 'bio' huh? If you're a bio student, you should have heard about this name, Charles Darwin, who talked about evolution, natural selection~~~ This book was considered one of the best gift of the night, as it worth more, and it was sponsored by a lecturer, Professor Baharuddin Salleh.

Then, we went on 2nd round.... to a place at seaside in Batu Ferringhi, to celebrate Ann's and Wei Kit's birthday, fall on the 28th March.

and the chairs were not steady too... anyway, we came to an open air 'restaurant' on the beach named LAB.... well, we were too hardworking until the celebration was also made at the LAB! haha....

The night ended at about 2am. For me, the night was not that fun... the RM 50 at least worth with the lucky draw gift I got, with the bad food I had.....

Comparing this time and the ones I attended in form 6, I prefer the old times much more than this.... hmm...

Need to face reality again sigh....

Seni Memasak

Seni Memasak was the only "formal" co-curriculum I had ever taken in my university life. Usually when we registered for co-curriculum, it was hard to get because the seats were limited!

In fact, it is now officially ended, after attending 12 lessons + 1 more "presentation". It seems to end fast, but it took quite many hours from us just for One credit hour, with a few little written tests. Let me summarise...

First day, 11st Jan 2010, I went to School of Industrial Technology and searched for the room for Seni Memasak. It was my first time entering that school. When I found it, I saw no people had attended yet. Huh, I was too early? Luckily I did arrive at the correct room and started to know the situation better then. There were only 4 chinese, and there was no chinese guy. And the funny part was 4 of us knew each other -- Huey, NZC, Thiam Hui and I. The instructor of this course was one of the lecturer of this school, Dr Noor Aziah. She was quite nice person.

Firstly, we were all divided into 5 groups. I was in Group A, together with 4 malay girls and one malay guy, and we were from different schools. Every group had each own box of cooking tools and pans etc. Immediately after some briefing, we started our first cooking lesson! It was pumpking pudding, which in fact I thought it should not be called as pudding, just merely dessert.

Hehe... not bad huh. I quite enjoyed myself in the cooking lessons. However, after every class, every group was required to send email to the instructor a photo of the dish and write some description with theme ! And it was me all the time to do the things.. ah well....

The spirit and the excitement dropped gradually especially after CNY. Anyway, many people expected me to cook better haha... I don't think that I can really cook the whole thing as I just assisted some part or just helped in washing dishes and taking photos.

Hohohoho.. I guess many people would consider taking up this course after seeing the photos I posted in facebook xp. Wow... the competition getting more intense. Just kidding la....

Day 6 of CNY, 19th Feb:

Stayed at home most of the time. At night, my dear came over my house. Transferred photos to his laptop.We also went to Gasoline Kepong for having a drink and french fries.

Spent the last few hours together before we went separated again for few months...

I slept at late night, as usual as it was the night before I departed to Penang again.

Day 7 of CNY, 20th Feb:

The day I went "back" to Penang for the last time before graduation. My beloved dad sent me back, and my mum followed. They stayed for one night at the rental house I'm staying now. At evening, we went to Komtar and Prangin Mall for shopping. Then we walked to the George Town UNESCO World Heritage site... for attending the event oragnised by Penang State Government -- CNY Cultural & Heritage Celebration, 庚寅虎嘯迎新春．文化廟會. There were many people, really "people mountain people sea"! We also had our supper at Kimberly street before heading off back.

Day 8 of CNY, 21st Feb:

Today morning, I brought my parents to have Dim Sum at Pekaka there. Then we drove to Jelutong area to search for Pasar Pagi. After some searching, we finally reached the place, and bought many things~~ very heavy!!! Most things were for the Bai Tian Gong 拜天公 tonight, and would be brought back to KL ...

Next, we went back to Sungai Dua, and shopped at Tesco Extra. Hehe... since my parents were here, they paid for the groceries, food etc that I bought hoho~~

Before they departed home, we went to have lunch at Plus Two restaurant 加二, introduced them the yummy Wantan mee. Besides, my dad had ordered a bowl of dumplings in soup and a bowl of shark fins soup (RM15 only though)@@"... oh well, what a full lunch again!

Full breakfast and lunch and hence I just ate biscuits and kuih for dinner.

Again, like the previous two years, I was "abandoned" again in Penang by my parents, *sob*

However, unlike last times, I did not feel too extremely sad... maybe I was too busy carrying the heavy stuffs to my rental house until I had no time to feel sad.

I was quite hardworking to do some chores ... and kept staying online =.=

I need to rush so many homeworks yet I was so lazy!

Currently, there are many fireworks to be watched and heard in Penang. Well, although feel lonely, wish to have my dear beside me though, I need to stay positive and gambateh ah~~~~

Seldom update my blog recently, lack of motivation to blog hmm....

Sometimes I had just enough time to choose, edit and upload photos to my facebook, and then I would opt to spend my time to do other more important stuffs or just being relaxed.

yea, it's still Chinese New Year 2010 now. And of course I'm now at my home in KL. Going "back" to Penang soon.... time flies fast, especially happy ones.

I was back to hometown at the night before CNY eve.

CNY eve, 13rd Feb:

Helped to do some chores. Went out with my dear to do shopping but bought nothing. Had the reunion dinner but not a very enjoyable one. Went to 1U with my dear to watch a comedy movie -- 72 Tenants of Prosperity (72家租客) and had the chance to watch live 8tv television show about countdown to CNY.

Day 1 of CNY, 14th Feb: also Valentine's Day

Yearly activity, paid visit to relatives' houses at Sg. Buloh. Then my family went to have a walk at newly open Carrefour at Kota Damansara. Sleepy and took nap for hours.... and online at night...

No special valentine celebration. Only the first few hours spent in the cinema. Gave him a rabbit doll to hug... hehee...

Day 2 of CNY, 15th Feb:

Went to Jetty at Klang, took ferry to Pulau Ketam with my dear family. Spent the whole afternoon... oh well, it was my first experience on that crab island. Had Bak Kut Teh at Klang... but not a famous one.

On the way back in the night, we all got attracted by the special lighting decoration at the left of highway before Toll at Section 7, Shah Alam. The place was i-city, another area (2nd after Cyberjaya?) with MSC Malaysia cybercentre status. I myself also quite blur about the concept, for more details you may refer to the websites below~

Day 3 of CNY, 16th Feb:

Usually my friends and I would make one day during CNY for Bai Nian trip... to pay visits to friends' houses to gather AngPows~~~ haha $$

This time the members who joined the trip were Ching, Hoon, Jin, May, Nee, Teng, and me 7 girls, added my boyfriend and his best friend. Our bai nian trip ended at about 6pm, and then decided to have 2nd part of trip -- to Thean Hou Temple 天后宫 and Midvalley~ although not all of us went (Ching, May and Nee did not join).

In 2 cars we went to Thean Hou Temple, oh... it was quite jammed... and you could notice bad clutch smell ... as every car needed to work hard passing through the steep slope.

Day 4 of CNY, 17th Feb:

Went over my dear's house, stayed for the whole afternoon, did part of assignment there.

Then at night, went to have drinks with his high school best friends gang... the first time I met with his "gang"...

Day 5 of CNY, 18th Feb:

Shopping day... shopped at 5 shopping malls! with my dear and my roommate Cheryl Bei Shan. We went to KLCC for Kinokuniya at about 2pm. Then jammed to Times Square. Had lunch at Mr. Ramen (it was bad) and processed photos, and had some walks + shopping.

Next was Low Yat Plaza to buy some stuffs... then was Sg Wang. We spent quite lot of time there for shopping. At about 8.30pm only we went to Pavillion for taking photos...

We had our dinner at Kepong foodcourt at about 10.30pm! @@" It was really tiring to walk for about 8 hours.... and I was wearing high-heeled shoes!

So far, I should be satisfied that I had spent these few days playing around... with my friends and family. However, there're other negative things happened.... but I wish not to mention here.

So, all of us ... please take care... Health is very important.

Aiks... felt like this holiday was like a dream... going to face hectic reality soooooonnn...

I feel stressed once I thought of that! But I know, it's going to be the only about 3 months left. Let it be full and without regret, also need to Cherish the stressful moments too...

What I busy for...this sem

Wonder will I become a real panda at the end of this final semester @@" ....

After going through these 3 years of University life, my look becomes older than the age I should be! =.="

Other than growing fungi in my fyp lab, seems like fungi are growing in my blog too, paiseh paiseh... I just had enough time to update my facebook, upload some edited photos to make myself satisfied besides busy with classes and fyp....

Some people might think that I was free, not busy enough... as they saw my uploaded photos...

oh well, it's just one of my hobby, to satisfy my desire, to make myself happy after spending whole day long in the campus/lab...... Was it wrong to do so? And should they add more burdens on my shoulders, while they were actually more free than me?!

Okay, forget about it, I try to get used of it (in fact I should have already got used to it). It's the fate of being a kay-poh...

This semester, I am busier than the previous one as I take more subjects:

1. Environmental Microbiology, core, 3 units

---workload: 2 hours lectures per week, lab project once in two weeks, final exam

2. Final Year Project, core, 4 units (8units total in 2 semesters)

---workload: anytime until the lab works done, thesis writing, presentation viva, supervisor impression

3. Introduction to Management, minor, 4 units

---workload: 2 hours lecture per week, tests, final exam.

4. Japanese Language Level 200, option, 2 units

---workload: 4 hours class per week, listening tests, presentation, final exam....

5. Art of Cooking (seni memasak), Cocurriculum, 1 unit

---workload: every Mon + Thursday evening... until finish cooking dishes... some quiz... and photo of the dishes to be sent... *... got some other extra works to do sometimes for other people....

So, total of 14 units... more than most of the final year students...

In fact, at first I planned to retake a core paper, Microbial genetics to improve my grades, since I got only C- in second year. However, even I am able to improve, it won't really improve much of my cgpa; besides it would take up much time to do lab works too. I would be too busy then!! and might affect my other subjects then the overall effect would be negative.

Of the Seni Memasak and Japanese language, I actually could opt for only either one to fulfill the last ONE unit of the university course. At last, I chose both. Simple reason, I wish to learn Japanese language until 2nd level, still very basic and I should know too. Then, I also wish to have a "Co curriculum" in my University life & cert haha, and without sweating... so tadaaa.... Cooking in air-conditioned room! huhu.... and can learn to cook dishes yay~~~

At now stage, my fyp lab works are not completely done yet. I hope to finish the 2nd part of the lab work by CNY. And then follow up some incomplete little parts of results within February or early March. sigh... not forget about my thesis writing too!!!! It is not as easy as I thought.

Writing a quality thesis is totally different from talking crap over here. =(

and since it's my final semester now, I should really start considering my way after graduation. Should I pursue Master or start working?

If Master, which place to choose? KL or Penang?

If working, which field to choose?

or apply to be a teacher?

What lah.... really lazy to think about it... confused ~.~

3G - DiGi Campus

and well, I was thinking the 3G function of my phone was a waste;

maybe it's my problem, I did not dig it deep within the website...

Everything was similar to the previous rates except:

MMS to all networks = RM0.25/mms, even after RM2 usage...

I had sent many mms to my dear in the past few months;

and those were FOC after RM2...

However, now... 3G Video Call to all DiGi Numbers are free after RM2 usage daily!

it's like making voice call....

even before RM2 usage is reached, Video call only charges RMo.15/min.

Penang Trip II, Nov09

another day of outing huhu... led by dear's cousin brother, bro Yong who is working at Penang currently. Our first destination was having lunch at Sister's char koay teow @ Lam Heng Cafe Macalister Road. Overall, it tasted quite good, maybe it's not the best but better than the other I had ever tasted. Ops, you're right, I did not hunt for much nice food although I have stayed in Penang for more than 2 years...

Next, we went to visit the Christian cemetery, looking for the tomb of Francis Light. Hmm... it was suggest by bro Yong, but we did not manage to find it. I just post up two photos showing signboards here, felt like not good to post the other photos showing tombs...

Then we passed by the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, a special building with historical value. We were not allowed to visit as we liked, and must wait for the tour guided at certain time. Before we proceeded to the next place, we had some thirst quencher -- coconut drink by the road side. The Indians who sold the coconut had really good skills to open up the coconuts! Then we went to the Little Penang Street Market at Upper Penang Road, which showcases Penang's culture and creativity. It usually takes place only on the last Sunday of every month.

I was so excited when I saw the stuffs below.

It was a short Penang trip which used up only part of the afternoon. Thanks to bro Yong for bringing us to those places that I never been ^^

Penang Trip I, Nov09

During the stay of my dear in Penang, from 13rd Nov to 2nd Dec 09, I had planned and went on some short Penang trips with him. I would like to jot down some of them here~

27.11.09 - Jelutong Pasar Malam

Suggested by one of my friend from the same school (biology), Teck invited us to go to the Pasar Malam at Jelutong by taking Rapid Penang 303. I did not went there before... and till that day only I knew it was a big-sized Pasar Malam in Penang, many clothes and food were sold.

This pizza not bad~ if not mistaken, it cost RM6

We had tried it out too, yumyum~

This was the Taiwan Mee Sua sold by Uncle Bob stall. Delicious ~ but not cheap...

We didn't buy other stuffs except food. 6 of us including Tek & his gf SawEin, IngYann, MayLyn, my dear and me were satisfied filling our stomach full.

Our trip on that day started at afternoon, and there's a person that I must say thank you to, he is my junior, Gui Song because he had become the driver of the trip!

The first destination was Penang Hill. However, due to the failure of buying ticket for the cable car, we skipped this and continued to the next stop - Kek Lok Si. We straight away went up to the hillside above the pagoda, where statue of Kuan Yin is located. Hmm... the pavilion for the Kuan Yin was not yet completed its construction, and it was announced that Dec 6 would be the grand opening of the pavilion, which was one week after that day.

After that, we went to eat Asam laksa, also in Air Itam. We did not order the most famous one, as I personally felt it was not really delicious. I prefer the one sold inside the food court, by a deaf mute uncle.

Next, we wanted to visit other temples... which I had visited once during the Penang trip back in year 2005, when I was still in lower six. However, we failed to find it and almost gave up finding... and at that moment, we suddenly saw it... haha!

It's dinner time! After seeking help from my coursemate, we headed to the Hai Nan Western 白云山西餐 at Tanjung Tokong. I had tried once before with my coursemates... However, we thought that what we ordered was not very delicious, just okay, and yea... it's worse if compared with the previous time I came. *ops... I forgot what we had ordered by the way...*

By the time we finished our dinner, it was already late... and we needed to rush to Toy Museum! As the last admission was at 8.30pm. Luckily we reached there by 8pm. Paid RM10 per person, with no charges for car park and camera; and our 'driver' was waiting outside alone! Okay... let's see the photos...

Although it's late and not according to chronology, I wish to flash back the day before Christmas eve and during Christmas eve. On the 23rd Dec 09, my dear and I went to Berjaya Times Square, Sg. Wang, and Pavilion.

We parked the car at Times Square, yea... we didn't opt to go by train, as driving was more convenient. As planned, parking there would cost us the most RM7.00 (during weekdays). However, in Times Square, we forgot to take photo with the Christmas decorations (the snowman!). We just went to eat lunch at Johnny while waiting photos to be processed.

Next, we walked through Sg. Wang to go towards Pavilion; thought of watching a movie, the Avatar, but there was a long queue! Finally, we did not watch movie but just had some walk and took photos~~

After that, we walked back to Sg. Wang for shopping. At about 7.45pm, again we walked back to Pavilion. Wow, there were many people waiting there already, everyone was waiting for the man-made Snow to fall at 8pm! Hehe, while waiting, photo session again!

Hehe... my dear and I had never been there before, Ching the same too, while Jin would be the one who lead the way. We headed there after fetching them~ Luckily we did not get lost huhu... But if you ask me to bring you there, hehe I don't know haha... I just remember, must pass by Ampang Point...

On the Christmas Eve, 24th December 09, my dear and I went to Sunway Pyramid at night. We didn't really go for countdown but just for some walk. There was traffic jam... but still bearable. When we reached there, it was quite late already. We wished to buy santa hats to wear but I failed to find them! T_T"

During recent period, Sunway Lagoon offered free entrance in night time. Hence, both of us went inside and walked around too. Well, nothing much to see though, many places were closed and limited to enter, the rides were very limited too. We had taken some photos and had eaten ice-cream before leaving Sunway, before 12am.

Then, I suggested having supper at Murni, PJ SS2, since he had never been there before. We had ordered a Nasi Goreng Chicken Chop, RM10; and a Kiwi special + Ribena special each cost RM5. There were many people... ops forgot to capture the proof haha.

It was how I spent my Christmas Eve and welcoming the Christmas with the supper ~

and it was the very first time we spent our Christmas together, and not lonely, although did nothing special ^^

Review my 2009; Resolution for 2010

In year 2009, many bad things had happened, yet I was still considered as lucky I guess.

I had quite great losses of physical possessions in this year: a golden watch, my favourite earring, earphone's rubber of my SE phone, and some other little things.... and most importantly the wallet!

@@ seems like I was really blur...

Despite that, in May, I am lucky to have my dear as my boyfriend, someone who loves me very much hehe...

In 2009, I had my very first alcoholic drink "yumcha" session with my USM friends during my 22nd birthday. The second time occurred during the 22nd birthday celebration for LWW and NZC.

In the semester break, during May and June, I had completed the industrial training at Microbiology unit of Pathology Department of Hospital Selayang. I had learned much and got to know some new friends too.

My result of 2nd semester of academic year 2008/09 was bad, with a subject, microbial genetic obtained only C-, which is considered pass but with condition. Then in the last semester, the 1st semester of academic year 2009/10, I only took 3 subjects. The overall grades was okay, not good but at least able to maintain the CGPA.

Marketing (minor, 4 units) = A-

Microbiology of Pathogen (core, 3 units) = C+

Food and Industrial Microbiology (core, 4 units) = B

Final Year Project is the ongoing project, I started it in July/August 09, and so far, the progress is okay... I will put more effort in order to get a good result~

After taking enough courage, I finally went to clinic to have vaccination of cervical cancer. In fact, before the real thing happened, I had considered for a long time.

And finally I did join Penang marathon. hehe... it could be considered as one of the great thing I had done, 10km and the Penang bridge huhu...

Now, evaluate about the resolutions I had made in Jan 09,

--First, I would patiently wait for my mr. right to appear; Yea, he is here now ^^

--hence while waiting, I must live my life to the fullest, and become a better woman; I guess I did?

-- take care of my body more; ops... I always slept late, and now is sick too :(

--hope those pimples can really stay away from me; people who saw me said got improvement! ^^
--I must put more effort in my study!; I have put more effort in study, yet not enough.

--be more passionate towards laboratory works!; Not really passionate, but I was trying to motivate myself to go. haha

--control my diet more strictly, no food intake after dinner!; this one hard to do, hence, weight not controlled well =.="

Resolutions for Year 2010:

--improve my temper control even more! Although already improved, I know the sufficient level is not yet reached.

--love my dear more, hehe... (I always bully him leh =.=")

--complete my FYP! with good thesis produced!

--put more effort in study, so I can graduate with at least cgpa 3.00 (higher better la haha)

--take care of myself (I always sick?)

--able to decide which way to go, my future... my job...

--be slimmer or at least maintain... my weight

--do not procrastinate my work, reduce last-minute work...

and... wish everyone stay happy and healthy + think positive always ^^

皆さん、新年おめでとうございます。

Yesterday was the new year eve, 31st December 2009. My dear and I had planned to spend the night at Queensbay Mall and to countdown together with the singers of the countdown event.

Oh yes, I was back to Penang with my dear on the 28th December 2009. Some people might wonder why I had only such short holiday (1 week?), in fact I had a long holiday, just that I did not go back early as I needed to settle some FYP works. And some people were wondering why my dear was back to Penang with me, hmm actually his new semester too had already started, but he's skipping this week full with holiday haha.

So, back to the main story, in the evening, we took Milan bus to Queensbay Mall (QB). RM1 per person, er... not every Milan bus taking the route to QB actually, and normally we would wait for the rapid. However, we were lucky as we saw this Milan bus within few minutes of waiting. The first thing we did when we arrived there was buying movie ticket, and oh, it was a long queue, as expected. Thought want to watch Avatar, again, we missed the chance.

We had our dinner at Shihlin. Nice food we had was handmade oyster mee sua cost RM6 and a set with japanese rice (not sure) + 3 pieces of tauhu + spicy crispy chicken + a bottle of soy soya cost RM10.

Then, we went window shopping... actually wanted to buy new clothes but failed to buy any.

At 9.30pm, we went to watch movie! The Princess and the Frog~~~ it's a cartoon... and quite nice I would say. It was capable of stimulating my tear gland to secrete tears.... when "ray", the firefly died. When the movie ended, it was already 11.30pm. We immediately went to outdoor to catch up with the countdown activity. The whole outdoor of Queensbay mall was very crowded! Everyone was excited to welcome the arrival of new year with the singers of the night. Tank and Power Station were the singers from Taiwan who were the most famous ones among those of the night. The photos below were taken by zooming, as I was standing quite far away from the stage ~~~ we could only stare at the main big screen...

Power Station 动力火车, the band from Taiwan was performing when we were there. They were really superb! They were able to liven up the atmosphere with their nice "explosive" voice and fast-paced + rock songs.

Everyone was countdown-ing together the last 20 seconds. 3.. 2.. 1! Happy New Year~ haha... then there came the fireworks which lasted 8 minutes (not sure if it was really 8 mins). I had captured some but not nice enough.

After watching the wonderful fireworks, we stayed there for two more songs performed together by Tank and Power Station; then started to walk back. Yea, we had planned to do so as there would be no bus. It's not an impossible mission haha. Anyway, many people were walking too, most of them parked their car quite a distance away from Queensbay mall; while some people were doing the same thing like us, going back home by walking! On the way back, we found that the traffic jam was quite serious hmm.

While passing by Subaidah, the mamak restaurant, we stopped by and bought nasi lemak special and teh ais, as our supper at home. At first thought wanted to have the supper there, but there was no seat available. We didn't really count the time we used for this walking journey, but if not mistaken, we took about 40 minutes to walk from Queensbay mall to the rental house at Desa Air Mas, Sg Dua. Hence, this event was the first big thing we did in this new year hoho.

On the 1.1.09 morning, 10am, we had our 2nd meal of the year hehe, at the Dim Sum Restaurant at Pekaka. Wow, there were a lot of people!

The above dim sum were what we had eaten. I liked the 宇角 very much.

Together with the KokPoh tea, we had paid RM16.50.

Soon return to stressful campus life, however, I am glad that I am able to stay in KL for about one week although my FYP is yet to finish =.=

If possible, I would rather use the time fully so that I could finish doing my FYP as fast as possible; and that means I would not choose to go home at all. However, I could not ignore my life and responsibilities in my hometown, for instance, help my family to move business to a new rental shop; meet with my fellow best buddies and spend precious moments with my dearest ones. In addition, I needed a short holiday staying away from the stressful FYP and celebrated christmas in KL!

hehe, the statements above explained why I am currently at KL. =)

but in such a short time I will again face the busy campus life + activities + fyp... and it's the very final semester I am going to have!

I celebrated christmas with my dear (will blog about it soon) and of course, I did not forget about my fellow best gal friends a.k.a. ji muis. I was happy as all of them whom I invited were free and able to attend the gathering.

Today morning, we decided to have breakfast at the newly opened Dim Sum restaurant, Hong Kee 洪记港式点心 at Aman Puri Kepong. My dear joined our gathering too and became my driver huhu...

Thanks Hoon for being the Santa Claus of the day, she 'distributed' the souvenirs bought in Sarawak and Johor to us ^^

The food we had tried out this morning... erm, of course got dim sum which I found okay, but not very delicious; Wantan mee not nice (because I had tried some other very nice ones); chee cheong fun 猪肠粉 also very normal; there's a special pudding... but I advise not to try it out as it was expensive yet weird (texture?) taste...

Overall, I rate the food as Okay only, need more improvements...

Expensive or not? I think not cheap, but not expensive too haha...

hmm... I am contented for having this full yet meaningful short holiday. I had great time with my dear, my family and friends. I did not become a lazy person because my family needed me to help in the progress of moving the business from old rental shop to a new one =)

I hope I could hang out more, but the more important stuff came first. It is not easy to move a shop.

haha... but I did sacrifice my sleeping time to watch a Hong Kong hot drama:宫心计 :Beyond The Realm Of Conscience; my another 'achievement' lolz.

回忆那十九天

每次相聚后的离别，总让我感到无比的失落及孤独。

谢谢他，在考试后一天从沙巴直飞槟城，为了不能早归吉隆坡的我。
那天是二零零九年十一月十三号，也是他的生日；
当时的我还没考完大学的最后第二个学期。

我们一起共度了他的生日，只是去逛街、吃饭、看戏。。。
没有蛋糕，没有礼物，
哎哟，我这个女朋友怎么当的嘛。。。
还好过后还是补送了一双白色球鞋 xp

考试完毕，我们参加了一年一度的槟城大桥国际马拉松赛；
只是10公里的欢乐跑，我们成功地完成任务，获得了奖状，嘻嘻。。。
重点是，其实他可以参加21公里的半马马拉松赛；
可是他却很愿意的陪我“跑”，而不是各跑各的。
还有，我们一起拥有美好的回忆，拍了好多照片，
也实现了“征服”槟城大桥的梦想，呵呵。。。

过后，我还不能回家，因为还有Final Year Project (FYP)要赶。
他特地留下来陪我做实验，好像在给他工业训练 industrial training 哈哈

其间，他很照顾我，有时还煮饭给我吃！
说真的，他比我还厉害煮饭菜啦，我承认的。。。

原本我打算在十二月头完成某些阶段的FYP的，然后就可以一起回家。
可是，我真的不会计划工作的咯，结果到现在都还不能如期完成。
所以，我不可以让他做个不孝子。。。他一定得先回家。。。

在他回家之前，我们一起去了槟城的一些地方观光，也享受了不少槟城美食。
谢谢阿德、贵松和他的表哥，他们各自都有功劳哦；
没有他们，我们就不能以快一点的步伐到达目的地；也不知道某些地方以及美食。

昨天，十二月二号，他回到了吉隆坡，我依然在槟城。
真的很伤心难过，想念他的拥抱，想念关于他的一切。。。
为什么我那么失败咧，如果能如期完成我的工作，
现在就能把握时间在一起咯！

分开四个月半后的相聚，
十九天里创造了不少的回忆；
我一定要赶紧完成那害人不浅的FYP!
然后再一次把握我和他在一起的时光！

Penang Bridge International Marathon™ 2009

yes, I did it!!!!!

Yesterday, 22.11.09, Sunday, I had my first time joining a marathon other than the "merentas desa" in high school. Since I came to Penang, I had had the intention to join the event but didn't do so because of timing problem and no friends wanted to join together.

This time, the date was after my final exam, and since I would stay in Penang until early December (maybe) for doing FYP, why not I grabbed the chance to take part? hehehe...

Besides, my dear had bought the flight ticket, from Sabah flying to Penang after his final exam. Therefore, no problem could be the reason stopping me from joining this marathon! huhu...

Both of us had joined the Fun Run category with 10 km distance. Firstly, our main purpose was not about running/jogging; as I am not a good runner, er... he is quite good though. The Motives that were quite unrelated to running:

1. To experience crossing Penang bridge w/o vehicle

2. To take photographs of people, scenes, and us with the bridge especially

3. To get the T-shirt and goodies hahaha!

4. To have a chance in lucky draw session

5. To get the certificate proving that I had joined and completed the marathon!

6. To have a memorable event with my dear

7. To join in fun~

Both of us didn't have enough sleep actually lolz... we slept quite late and woke up at 4.30am. Thanks Ann and her bf for fetching us or we couldn't reach Queensbay mall with ease. We thought we needed to register, but seems like we were wrong.

Since the time was still early, we wandered around and had some "breakfast" as there were some booths distributing food samples like biscuits, 100 plus, milo, cereals... banana too!
We met Jien who was working with "Breathe Right", he was promoting and helping fellow runners to stick on the nasal strips which helped to open the nasal passage for better breathe. Well, it seemed working well, but it caused my nose to open big and I looked like a piglet =.="

There was a bag deposit area provided for fellow participants. However, we didn't need it as we had brought along a small waist bag, and we had planned well to bring only a mobile phone, a camera, ICs, key, a towel, a plastic bag, a packet of tissue and a bottle of water.

When it was about 7am, we followed the crowd walking to the Eastin Hotel. Fun Run runners were required to gather in front of the hotel as it was where the starting line located. It was too bad that the hotel employees replied to us that we couldn't use the toilet in the hotel when we asked for; by that time, there were a lot of people crowding inside the hotel lobby... she said that we should go back to the event location for using the toilet. Seems like... we would be allowed to use its toilet only if we had our breakfast there? Okay... never mind, I cancelled my call for toilet.

While waiting, I met Nikki, a friend from USM too... she was joining without friends... she's very independent! Unlike me, she was joining for running haha. There were many people scattered at the starting point, and I noticed few people actually brought along handbag which girls usually use for shopping outings @@"; and some with not-so-sport mode outfits. Without really knowing how it was started off, we just followed the crowd in front to start "running". Not far from the starting point, we spotted a couple with wedding suits! Wow... they must have grabbed this great chance to create extraordinary memorable wedding ^^

The sky was not clearly blue that morning... it started to rain lightly when we ran near to the bridge. But everyone continued "running" for sure... it didn't really affect unless it was really heavy I guess...

Yea... Finally we saw the bridge! huhu.... at that area, many people started to stop by and took photographs, with the bridge as the background~~ It was such a precious moment to walk on the bridge with no cars... and at any lanes of the highway, enjoyed a short while of breeze with my dear too lolz...

Although we were slow (my dear just adjusted his pace to follow mine...) as we were "running", we insisted on completing whole 10km on own strength. Without any training, I didn't dare to run much, and hence I just ran for not more than 500m... ops... still, my leg muscles started to get tense on the half way...

Finally, we crossed the finishing line! wuhooo... and we were in the time to get the certificate~! yoyoyo.... if not mistaken, we had used 1h50m to complete this 10 km. I would say lucky not to join the half marathon with 21km... if not, with my laziness to train, I would "die" @@

everyone is complaining about exam on Facebook, hahaha....

How to memorize everything and 'vomit out' the everything exactly in final?

It's really hard lah...

Although I have only 3 papers to sit for this semester...

Although I had many days to study for a subject... which had past today morning...

still I couldn't answer correctly as I wished...

You know, I had memorize the stuffs!!! But why couldn't I remember what were they?

Weak memory power I have, really.

The paper I had sit today was Food and Industrial Microbiology, with 4 credit hours~~

Overall I was able to write most of the points... but there were some parts which I failed to recall what I had memorized. Haiz...

Never mind, I will put more effort in the next paper... (hope so lolz), which is a very very hard subject: Microbiology of Pathogens, falls on 18th November.

And the next day to it, I will sit for Marketing paper, of my minor course.

Huhu... yea, there are still two weeks time!!!!

wow... really a long gap and then the two papers are packed together.

But never mind, I like the timing ahaha...

I will survive!!!

Last Monday and Tuesday, I was very hardworking! I went swimming with my roommate Bei Shan at the swimming pool of the condominium I'm staying now.

As a result, I had some muscle pain~~~ and still, I had decided to go for injection at such body condition! lolz...

After long procrastination, finally I decided to pay RM160 to numb (no la, was to inject) my left arm with the HPV vaccine (Cervarix), at USM clinic.

So, what was the injection for? HPV stands for Human Papillomavirus; which causes Cervical Cancer. For your information, Cervical cancer is the 2nd most common cancer affecting Malaysian women, after breast cancer, according to the information I read in the leaflet. The virus is transmitted through genital skin to skin contact, so it can affect virtually any woman! Hence, the ideal time to vaccinate against this HPV types 16 and 18 is before you get exposed to HPV... means before the first sexual encounter~~~

There is a total of 3 doses: Second dose would be 1 month after the first dose; Third dose would be 6 months after the first dose. Since getting these doses in USM clinic would be cheaper compared to private clinics, I could save more money then.

However, what made me consider quite a long time was the risks that come along with injection. Recently, there was a news bringing the death of a school girl after being injected with this vaccination. However, no detailed updates about the news saying what was the real reason causing the death; what I found was saying:

"It appears that Natalie died from a tumour in her chest involving her heart and her lungs."

Information of Cervarix from Wikipedia:
Cervarix is created using the L1 protein of the viral capsid. Recombinant activity in a baculovirus vector produces L1 protein spheres, which are very immunogenic. The viral proteins induce the formation of neutralizing antibodies. The vaccine contains no live virus and no DNA, so it cannot infect the patient.

So basically, it should be safe because no virus replication could happen....
However, anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients in the vaccine should not receive this vaccination!
There are possible side effects after injection which are normal reaction:
headache, aching muscles, fatigue, gastrointestinal including nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, itching, red skin rash, hives, joint pain, fever....

In fact, I was quite worried about these side effects too....
Finally, what I had experienced yesterday was: the nurse had a good skill, I felt like bitten by a normal ant when the needle was stabbed into my arm; no pain actually... then, when the vaccine was full injected into my body, immediately I walked out from the clinic without any effects. After walking for some distance, my arm became numb, and I felt like vomitting. But I didn't vomit, just feeling ill, and gasses were filling my stomach... the whole night I kept exhaling those gasses out from my stomach.... besides that, I had some pain at the site of injection. Overall, these effects were common.

Maybe it would be better if I went for injection accompanied by someone =(

yohoo~~~ Finally could relax for some moments after rushing slides for presentation and studying for test.

Last Tuesday, there was a presentation session for us to present the mini project (experiment) that we had done for about 2 weeks before Hari Raya break. My group was doing on "Production of Cellulase Enzyme via Submerged Fermentation", which was one kind of project doing by some coursemates for their FYP. However, our presentation was carried out quite badly... still acceptable though.

This semester, I had done a few mini projects~~ which I found quite good, because I could really learn something!

ChoyLeng and Siang went to Queensbay together with me this afternoon. Finally I had registered myself at the counter @ Queensbay to join the Penang Marathon.

However, I had changed my mind, from joining Half Marathon category to Fun Run only; I had also helped my dear to register too! huhu... Siang still insisted on joining Half Run, ganbatte neh~

Reasons to change Category: I guess 21 km is really exhausted! It's kinda impossible mission for me, I am not really a runner~~~ so why should I waste my money huh.... By the way, I would be happy if the Fun Run cateogory does let us to run on the Penang bridge. Sigh... it was my main purpose initially~~~~ aiya, never mind la..... then I should set a target to complete the 10km~~

AZUMA

Before we registered, we went to fill our stomach at AZUMA, a japanese restaurant. It was our very first time trying out this restaurant. It was a nice place but kinda cramped. After staring at the menu for long, we were asked to order our drinks first. Though I knew the price was really expensive for drinks, still I opted for Kiwi Sorbet which costed me RM12 instead of Green tea that costed only RM1 @@. In fact, I was paiseh to order only green tea while the waitress was trying to persuade us on those drinks.

Then, we took long time to think before decided to order those expensive food...

I had ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Set including salad, pickles, custard, miso soup, white rice and of course the chicken teriyaki; Siang ordered Oyako Don (rice topped with chicken and egg); and ChoyLeng ordered Watari Gani Jyu (rice with soft shell crab).

Overall, the foods tasted quite delicious, but if the price could be reduced more then better haha... but I think they really served real japanese food, I mean with real ingredients from Japan and that's why it's expensive...

Their service was good, hmm... let me tell a 'funny' incident here;

When we were eating, I saw a black hair mixed well in Siang's Oyako Don! I guess it was quite a normal incident that happened, however, since the food was charged with high price and with 15% tax, we should make a complaint about this! The people-in-charged seemed worried, and immediately agreed to change a new bowl for Siang! Wow... haha, then one of the waiter (or manager?) attended to us and served Siang a plate with 2 sushi. Hmm, it was definitely FOC.

Too bad that I had forgotten to snap photo of the 'food with hair'... as a proof huh...

However, 3 of us were quite satisfied with their immediate reaction; and we made them to become nervous I think. We were naughty, because we kept on laughing on their reactions, lolz.

After the meals, we were served with a scoop of green tea ice cream each. Wow, it's delicious! Not too sweet!

Today was quite a nice day hehe... we just took short time for waiting bus (for going and back). I seldom hang out with Siang and ChoyLeng actually. However, 3 of us enjoyed much today, and had helped Siang in choosing a dinner dress~

By the way, I felt quite sorry for unable to join my coursemates to sing K at Redbox Gurney. Because I wanted to save money. Since I had spent much on the Japanese lunch, and we came out from the restaurant at 3pm, it's quite not worth for me to have a full buffet at Redbox at 5pm.... sorry yo my coursemates...

hmm.... Forgot to mention, today is the Last Day of Semester 1 of Year 2009/2010. Then, Study week is with us, which means the Final exam is coming soon.... T_T"

Need to start studying soon, aiks... kinda lazy oh...

Penang Bridge International Marathon, anyone?

Since two years ago, I have been thinking of joining the Penang Bridge International Marathon.

Haha... but well, although I studied at Penang since that time, I was not at Penang at the time it was held. This time, coincidently, I will be at Penang.

The date this big run falls on 22nd November 2009, which is after my final exam.

First of all, I am interested to join because I want to experience walking/running on the Penang bridge! haha...

So, you should know that I'm not a good runner/marathoner.

There are 4 categories:

1. Full Marathon - 42.195 km

2. Half Marathon - 21 km

3. Quarter Marathon - 10 km

4. Fun Run - 10 km

If I join, I will join the Half Marathon, need to pay RM40 as Entry Fee oh. Fun run is okay but it won't fulfill my wish which is to experience the 'run' on the bridge. Any detailed information, you can refer to its official website: http://www.penangmarathon.gov.my/portal/

sigh... I really scare I can't make it, or I should only walk haha...
